The Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association membership currently consists of approximately 50 member companies in the United States, Canada and Mexico. In the United States alone, more than 80 percent of all builders hardware manufacturers are BHMA® members. Together, these companies produce the vast majority of hardware items used in the nation’s commercial and residential buildings -- from hinges and locks to door controls and exit devices. The membership is invited to play a paramount role in the development of ANSI/BHMA standards. Any manufacturer engaged in the manufacturing and selling of "builders hardware" in the United States, Canada or Mexico is eligible for Association membership.
