New Industry Resource: BHMA Codes in Context Report

To help educate and inform stakeholders about changes related to doors and hardware, BHMA has developed a report called Codes in Context.  The first edition addresses changes made to the 2021 International Building Code (IBC). Accompanying the Codes in Context report are Focus documents providing more detail on each of the topics. There are nine such documents as part of this first report.

Catherine Buckingham is a senior association and growth leader with extensive experience in global business development, membership growth, and operational strategy. Participate in the BHMA® Certification Program by voluntarily submitting a hardware product to independent laboratory testing to confirm that it fully meets the criteria of the appropriate ANSI/BHMA® standard.  This industry-wide certification program does not call for a manufacturer to be a BHMA® member in order to certify its products.
