For Immediate Release
February Technical Committee Week Kicks Off the 2014 Agenda
NEW YORK, NY (January 28, 2013) – The Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) will hold its annual Winter Technical Committee Week February 11th to 13th in Tampa, FL at the Tampa Airport Marriott.
“The BHMA 2014 Winter Technical Committee Week is intended to focus on this year’s standards and codes programs. This is an especially important meeting since we are currently working on the launch of our first two residential standards,” said Ralph Vasami, Executive Director of BHMA.
While BHMA’s existing standards include some residential hardware, the association has been developing standards which focus solely on residential applications.
The agenda also includes technical sessions to move forward with the revisions to four existing standards, including:
· A156.9 Cabinet Hardware
· A156.11 Cabinet Locks
· A156.23 Electromagnetic Locks
· A156.32 Integrated Door Opening Assemblies
